We purchased a Nissan Micra from Lee Mellor Trading as wesellsmallcars.co.uk also known as CAR SMART SOUTHAMPTON LTD also known as leeeverton111: on Ebay for £670 on 8th May 2021. Just 14 days later 22 May 2021 it became apparent that the vehicle had a serious electrical fault. The car refused to start even turning over turning the key and nothing! All dash lights light up like a Christmas tree even with or without the key in the ignition. After several attempts we managed to get the vehicle started however the engine then wouldn’t turn off and stayed running even with the key removed. After further investigation, we also discovered that the chassis was twisted. (Vehicle was mot`d just 4 months ago). We promptly contacted Lee to let him know that the car was dangerous and not safe to drive/ Lee Mellor is a motor trader. By law, the dealer must sell you a vehicle that is roadworthy and as advertised. The car will come with three months cover and will be free of charge. It covers a limited number of faults, mainly to do with major components. It will not cover wear and tear and will also exclude most parts. Please think twice before buying any vehicle from LEE Mellor of “we buy small cars” “car smart Southampton LTD” or any other name he chooses to trade under.
