Baylis Cheltenham (Vauxhall)

Baylis Cheltenham (Vauxhall)

Baylis was founded in 1994 when Michael Baylis purchased the Gloucester branch of Vauxhall retailer, Skipper. Since then the business has consistently grown and expanded to become one of the largest motor groups in the west of England with seven locations across the Three Counties.

Following the original purchase of the Gloucester Vauxhall dealership, the business expanded in 1997 with the acquisition of the former Greig's garages in Hereford and Ross on Wye. Three years later, in 2000, the network of branches increased to six when Baylis took over Haines & Strange's three operations in Cheltenham, Cirencester and Stroud.

The summer of 2009 saw the acquisition of the Vauxhall franchise for Worcester, adding to the synergy of Baylis' operations in the Three Counties.
