2021 Kia Sorento Review

2021 Kia Sorento Review

A new interior design with a much more streamlined, better-looking tech system and new exterior as well, and this seven-seat SUV has a lot to offer and will impress you. It costs around £2200 more than the old Sorento, but it does boast more features. It costs around £40000, before on-road costs and competes with cars like the Mazda CX-9, Hyundai Santa Fe, the Toyota Kluger. Here is a review of a fresh and new Kia Sorento everybody would enjoy.

What was the feeling to drive it?

Parking, even though this is a massive car, is fine. The steering works well and you can correctly place the car where you require it to proceed. There is a fantastic reverse parking function that will give you a helping hand. To power it there's a 2.2L, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. You do have a gas option too, but none of the petrol engines is AWD, gasoline Sorentos are FWD. This AWD version gets hills up easily plus aisles well along highways and it's not as loud as you would expect from a petrol engine. Fuel consumption is a claimed 6.1L/100km - that is thanks to the diesel engine.

How does it look like?

The inside gets a fresh look and in this particular model, you will find leather seats and a leather steering wheel that feels premium and there's a load of fresh finishings that actually take the look to a whole new level. You will find enormous brushed alloy door handles, so the dimensions of that is completely unnecessary however they look weathered and that is the purpose of those. The largest improvement, in comparison to the previous version, is the lack of buttons on the middle console. This entire area used to be rather cluttered with a number of buttons and it's clean and contemporary now. Everything is simplified so it is also simpler to use. You will find brushed metal cuts throughout, together with distinctive panels, and in general, the layout makes you feel great whilst driving it.

Is it spacious?

The rear seat has enough space for three children to sit comfortably across. It's possible to match a third child seat throughout the centre row by using two boosters and a baby pill. Adults are going to have enough room in the rear seat. The next row is larger and easier to get into than the last version, but as with most seven-seaters, children will find climbing much more fun than grandparents. Space is in fact rather good and you can slide the centre row forward to make more space for legs should you need it. Space in the boot is dependent on how you use your vehicle.

With the third row down you'll find a very large 616L that will fit a double pram, suitcases, or athletic equipment. If you have three children and under, everything will fit in the vehicle. With the third row in usage, the area is just 187L but it's still an improvement on the old version and you may fit school bags and groceries in there.
