Description:

WJ Jurgens Elite, Iveco 2.8 turbo diesel WJ Jurgens are the main premium coachbuilt motorhome specialists in South Africa. This vehicle was originally ordered by a British buyer who worked in South Africa and he had it built and shipped to the UK, having seen the quality of their products.
At one stage the motorhome was used as his race meet van as he was involved with the Martini racing team.
As far as I know there are only three other Jurgen Elites in the UK and this is my second one.

The vehicle was manufactured in the year 2000 and has only covered 65,000km = 40,000 miles in that time. Jurgens built these motorhomes on the proven Iveco Daily heavy duty twin rear wheel chassis. It is powered by the 2.8 litre turbo powered engine which is widely known for it's reliability, longevity and economy. ( considering it's size the motorhome easily returns between 28 and 30 mpg whilst touring!!) As it is the Iveco Daily running gear and engine, service and maintenance is widely available and inexpensive, so no worries there. The Motorhome can be driven by anyone holding a class C1 if you passed before 1997 driving licence. Road tax comes in at £245 annually.

The motorhome is crammed with equipment to enable a complete trip anywhere in luxury, with the kind of space not found in many other campers.

It has a large twin fixed bedroom to the rear which includes plenty of storage space under the bed and large wardrobes, multiple lighting options, separate wash hand basin. There are also plenty of power points.

There is a spacious lounge area with a large sofa bed which converts into another double bed. There are three full swivel Captains chairs and various table options which is ideal for relaxing and entertaining. Again this area is served with multiple lighting options, plentiful power point supply, stereo speaker system, heating and a swivel mounted TV/DVD.  Jurgens also added a backlit glazed cocktail cabinet with storage for your favourite tipples and a full set of WJ Jurgen etched cut crystal glasses!!

There is a spacious kitchen area which includes a full oven and grill with overhead extractor. The oven etc is immaculate and has seen very little use. There are twin sinks with a swivel mixer tap providing hot and cold water. also present is a full size fridge/freezer ( very useful on long trips) and a full size microwave oven. Jurgens also supplied a full dining set of crockery which is housed in it's own purpose made cabinet. Again there is plenty of storage space and power points.

There is a main bathroom complete with toilet and a full height shower, privacy glass and an overhead domed skylight which allows plenty of natural light in.

Being built in South Africa these vehicles where designed for long trips away from civilization and were equipped accordingly, this Motorhome is ideal for off grid living!
The motorhome has two large built in fresh water tanks of 50 gallons capacity each, which supplies the kitchen and bathrooms.
It has a large 100litre LPG tank which supplies gas for hot water and cooking. It has an EBERSPACHER diesel powered blow air heating system with digital display fee from the main tank. There is even an external hot and cold mixer shower built into the side of the vehicle. There is also an external gas BBQ point and again this runs from the LPG.
It also has a full air conditioning unit which was essential for comfort in warmer climates but maybe not so much here in the UK,but nice to have for longer Continental trips.
The Motorhome is even blessed with a factory built in Honda Generator which enables it to generate it's own 240v power supply when mains hook up is not available. Again this is LPG powered and has only had a few hundred hours of use from new.

The vehicle is equipped with twin solar panels on the roof. The smaller, solely for the use of the main engine battery, so never any problems with drain. The larger unit supplies the large twin leisure batteries, so again plenty of 12v power for lights etc.
The fridge freezer is an automatic three way unit and is ice cold whether being powered by the engine, mains or LPG. There is obviously also 240v mains hookup for use on sites etc.

The motorhome has a very large heavy duty GH Awning company vehicle length wind out awning. It also has all the front and sides to make this ideal for motorsport but the sides top part to slide them into is missing, I’m sure this will be readily available from the awning company.

The Motorhome is in very good condition in every respect and comes with a full document bag of all manuals and instructions, for the vehicle itself and all onboard equipment. It is obviously 23 years old so does have some age related wear and tear, The outside sticker graphics are ok but not the best. It is MOTd until July 2023. All previous MOT certs are present to confirm mileage. The vehicle also has a sat nav, dash cam and full colour reversing camera. It is also easily driven for it's size and economy is good.

The Motorhome must be seen to be fully appreciated and would be an excellent vehicle for anyone who wishes to travel and holiday in comfort or live in full time.
Purchased at the start of the year, My family and I have used this Motorhome for various motorsport events this year but now due a change in our own circumstances I’m offering it up for sale, and at a price you would pay for a lesser vehicle, or even some converted commercial vans. I have more pictures/ video of it so just ask. Can be delivered for cost but would need to be paid first.

Part exchange possible.
