Description:

You're looking at my labour of love, my 2001 Transit 2.4TD with 80k on the clock. I built this for my wife and I to enjoy and it had much thought went into the size, layout and equipment on-board but it's cost a lot more than I intended so it's going to have to go. So it started life as some sort of minibus and I tinted the windows, insulated it, and set to work building the interior. On the way I had to pay a couple of thousand on a new clutch, and brand new fuel pump and system flush as well as ball joint and timing chain cover replacement so the £££ have stacked up. It has sink with running hot and cold water from instant hot water heater, 2 burner hob, grill, oven, 3 way fridge (works on gas, 12v when driving or mains) thetford electronic flush swivel cassette toilet. Propex LPG heater, 230v plinth heater, LCD TV, aerial on the roof, solar panel, 2x gas bottles, 2x 110Ah leisure batteries, LED lighting including awning light. Awning rail, Tow-bar (needs wiring) and a £200 Engine re-map (more power + mpg). It has an on-board water tank which can be filled from outside but the waste from the sink currently just comes out the bottom of the van and I use a waste hog (could upgrade to tank underneath) You can't stand up in the van but I wanted it low enough to go through drive-through and it does. Front passenger seat swivels. The bed is a 4'6" wide (double) memory-foam mattress only used a couple of times since installed. Heating controls and LED light in bed. 2x clear roof-lights and side vents. Zig unit/charger/fuse box. Only jobs I've not done are odd cosmetic little bits in the van but perfectly useable and the bodywork needs sorting. I've replacement front wings and front arches to come with the van and I'm told it'd be worth getting rear arch replacement panels for when it gets painted. Also needs pictures sent off with logbook to change to motor-caravan as still registered as panel van, worth new keeper doing this so can tax and everything first.
