For sale is my 5 door Mitsubishi colt elegance. This is a 55 plate though was registered in January 2006. It has a 5 speed manual 1.3 litre 16 valve engine which i normally get 48mpg from. Its top speed is listed as 112mph with 94bhp. It is in insurance group 16 and tax band F. The car has been well maintained with a stamp in each year of the service history. Approx 10,000 miles ago (1.5 years) it got new front hubs and wheel bearings. Also at the same time it got front discs and pads. Around a month later came 4 new tyres (dunlop sport blu - best for wet weather said black circles). It has just passed another MOT (including service) with no advisories and will expire 12/08/2016. During the service we replaced the starter motor and clutch slave cylinder pipe. The standard kit listed on parkers website is as follows: 3*3 point rear seat belts, ABS, air con, alloy wheels, audio remote, body coloured bumpers, CD, central locking, drivers airbag, electric mirrors, folding/removable rear seats, front/rear electric windows, front fog lights, heated mirrors, height adjustable drivers seat, isofix child seat anchor, leather seats, leather steering wheel, leather gear knob, PAS, passenger airbag, remote locking, side airbags, space saver rear wheel, steering wheel rake adjustment. It also has the optional electric sunroof fitted. In my opinion this car is great and has done me very well, it is just time to move to a larger car now as i'll be driving more frequently soon so have bought a diesel. This car has barely been used for commuting apart from maybe once per month, its normal use was longer drives normally at the weekend through to visit friends and family or on many trips for holidays within the UK. The car has the standard age related marks, a few stone chips and the odd scratch. The glove box doesn't work (common fault on these cars). The alloys have a few spots that need touched up (if it bothers you). I've washed the car minimum every 2 weeks, polished / waxed it 4 times in the 2 years I've had it (is due another polish though). The leather interior has been moisturised every couple of months. From the above hopefully you can see the car has been well taken care of mechanically and cosmetically. If there is anything you want to ask feel free to, if you want to come and view the car you can do, i work different shifts each week so i'll do my best to get a suitable time for yourself. Test drives are welcome, though i would require the full price paid, along with valid fully comprehensive insurance documents before I allow the car off the driveway. I sadly cannot offer to drive the car for you either as my insurance will be swapping to my new car.
